Year 4 visited the Lincolnsfields Centre on Thursday 19th December. We learnt all about what life was like during World War II. We all had a fantastic time and learnt a lot about World War II.
Year 4 have been thinking about different scenarios that could take place out on the playground and how we can try to solve the problems ourselves. We also discussed when an adult should be involved and ways to solve situations without them.
Thank you to all the parents that joined Year 4 for Live Learning this term. We all took part in a Maths lesson on addition with regrouping. The class used Dienes cubes to support them in solving word problems.
Year 4 have had a busy start to the new school year. We have been taking part in the daily mile and started a unit in netball during P.E. lessons. During Maths, we have been focusing on place value as well as learning about electricity in Science. We have been reading Roman Myths in English and learning about all the different gods and goddesses. What a busy few weeks!
