On 24th May we celebrated Diversity Day across the school. Every year group had a virtual speaker who shared their experiences and knowledge of different faiths from Judaism, and Buddhism to Islam and Christianity. Year 4 enjoyed learning about Hinduism through a workshop which involved dancing with sticks and dressing up in traditional costumes. They found the meditation very calming!
An exciting range of activities, which reflect our cultural diversity, were completed across the school. We hope you enjoy reading the children's comments on the slides!

Diwali Workshops October 2019
Year 5 enjoyed Diwali workshops with Mrs Chandaria (our wonderful R.E Governor). After hearing the story of Rama and Sita they made glittery diva lamps, created colourful rangoli designs and mandala patterns. They even made an amazing peacock out of dyed puffed rice! Thank you Mrs Chandaria.
Thank you to all the families who donated so many items for our Harvest Festival this morning!
Donations will be sent to Hatfield Foodbank, who couldn't believe how much we had collected.
Children across the school have been learning about Diwali. Mrs Chandaria, one of our School Governors has been working with Nursery, Year 4 and Year 6.
