School Admissions can be an anxious time for parents. The Headteacher and the team are always available to talk about admissions into Nursery, Reception and also transitioning to Secondary School.

30 Hours Free Child Care
Howe Dell Primary School offers 30 hours free child care (08.45 - 15.15). If you are eligible for 30 hours free child care or would like to top up' your 15 free hours to 30 hours, please contact the school office who will provide you with the information you require. admin@howedell.herts.sch.uk
Nursery Places
Howe Dell has a 60 place Nursery which runs both morning and afternoon sessions. Each child is entitled to 5 free half day sessions per week (15 Hours).
Reception Places
'Starting School' packs are sent out automatically by Hertfordshire County Council to families who have children due to start Reception class. Howe Dell uses the LEA's criteria for Admissions to Primary Schools as the basis for the allocation of parties.
