Meet the Governors

Welcome to the Governors' section

Our Governing Board are a group of inspiring people, some who have been linked to Howe Dell School for many years. They discharge their statutory roles and provide challenge and support to school leaders in equal measures. As a board, we oversee the quality of Education and provision in Day Care and the main school.

Visits to learn about our work and attend Governor led initiatives are warmly welcome.

Following the pandemic, Governors wrote to all staff to say:

'As a governing board, we want to send our sincere thanks for all that you have done throughout the pandemic. Our Howe Dell family has yet again given outstanding care from both on and off site in extremely difficult circumstances. Thank you again for the part you have played in keeping the Howe Dell spirit alive.'

For 2022 our Co-Chairs of Governors are: Katie Fox and Julia Ellis-Hall

If you would like to contact us, please email or call the School Office on 01707 263291  and they will be happy to help you.

Governor recruitment : Following the retirement of some long-standing Governors we are looking to recruit to our board. If you know of anyone who would be interested and has a background in finance or education, we would love to hear from them.
