Howe Dell PSA have a range of good quality second hand uniform for sale at www.pta-events.co.uk/howedellpsa 

You will need to log in or register for an account and then head to 'Shop' then 'Uniform and Merchandise'. We update items and sizes for sale as we receive new donations, so if you don't find what you're looking for today, please go back and look again soon. If you would like to donate your child's old school uniform to raise funds for the school, please leave it with the school office for us to collect. Please only pass us items that do not have any stains or holes and are not too threadbare. Thank you.

This year we are again teaming up with STIKINS who produce personalised name labels for all school items. Howe Dell Parent School Association (Howe Dell PSA) organise fun events and activities for the children and parents/carers, raising money to put back into the school.  Some of the money raised in the past has been used towards:

o Wonder Days

o Themed week contributions

o Equipment for school (play equipment, indoor table tennis, reading books, and most recently a £5,000 contribution towards new laptops)

Events:

We offer discos, movie nights and a Christmas shopping day for the children, a summer fete for all the family and other small events each year, e.g. ice cream sales after school. The PSA also support a number of school events by providing refreshments throughout the year, e.g. Howe Dells Got Talent final, Open evening BBQ. 

However we are always open to new suggestions for our next project and any event/fundraising ideas.

Helpers:

We do rely heavily on the help and support from parents/carers in addition to the staff and governors of the school.  Without parents/carers helping or being a part of Howe Dell PSA, we cannot run our events.  If you are interested in helping at any of our events in future, please email us at psa@howedell.herts.sch.uk – you can always pair up with another parent/carer in school if you don’t want to help by yourself. This will not commit you to helping at every event but rather means we will contact you when we need assistance to find out if you are available.

Becky Mead is the Chair of the PSA and Natalie Kortekaas is the Treasurer.   You can contact them in a number of ways..they're always on the playground collecting their own children,  you could leave a message at the school office or email them at psa@howedell.herts.sch.uk. 

The PSA have a Facebook page (Howe Dell Primary School PSA) is run by the PSA, not the school. We’ll use this page to pass on information about events for both children and parents/carers of the school.  Feedback of the page is very positive so please join and we’ll add you to the page (NB posts do require admin approval).
