    • Early year stay and play – an opportunity to come into our reception and nursery classrooms to meet the team and see the environment for parents / carers and children 
    • Meet the teacher sessions – an outline of the year ahead, routines and key information specific to the year group 
    • New to year 6 – an extended ‘meet the teacher’ covering information relating to SATs, secondary transition and the conclusion to primary school 
    • Live learning – a chance to come and see the curriculum in action in the classroom. Each year we focus on a different area of the curriculum for live learning 
    • Parent consultations – held bi-annually, these are an opportunity to speak with your child’s class teacher about their progress and attitudes towards learning 
    • Class assemblies – an assembly hosted by your child’s class which showcases their work from the year so far 
    • Harvest assembly – led by Year 4 children with Year 4 parents invited to join us 
    • Remembrance assembly – led by Year 5 with Year 5 parents invited to join us 
    • Christingle – led by Year 3 with Year 3 parents invited to join us 
    • Key Stage 1 Christmas production – a Christmas play delivered by our Year 1 and 2 pupils  
    • EYFS Spring spectacular – a production put on by our youngest pupils involving singing and acting 
    • Year 6 leavers production – an opportunity to showcase our acting skills with singing, dancing and acting from our oldest pupils 
    • Year 6 leavers assembly – the chance to say goodbye and wish Year 6 pupils good luck on their journey to secondary school with parents / carers invited to join us 
    • School improvement meetings – termly updates for parents on our school improvement plan. A chance to find out what we have been focusing on in school and the progress we have made 
    • Year group coffee mornings – the opportunity to meet with senior leaders. We often have a rough outline for the session but it is predominantly led by the questions parents / carers ask 
    • SEND coffee mornings – the opportunity to meet with members of our inclusion team and SEND governor. General and focused meetings across the year 
    • Early years stay and read – once a week parents / carers are invited into the classroom to read with their child in the morning 
    • Author of the month assemblies -  parents / carers are invited to attend our celebration assembly where we celebrate ‘personal bests’ in writing and our Beacon pupils 
    • Sports day – the opportunity to cheer on pupils in their sporting events and join your child / children for a family picnic.  
    • Little Wandle workshops – a chance to come and find out how we teach phonics  
    • Art festival – whole school art work on display with the chance to purchase a piece of framed artwork by your child
