Howe Dell's Got Talent sponsors RSPCA

Our Children's Council organise Howe Dell's Got Talent annually for their chosen charity, which this year is RSPCA. We have had a charity representative into Assembly with a retired greyhound called Pedro and our Children's Council have publicised the event and acted as judges over their lunchtime, whittling down the many acts to 19 finalists.

Meanwhile Mrs Massey visited the local RSPCA at Southridge and returned home having adopted a 1 year old beagle.

'Charlie has been left outdoors in all weathers and with no shelter for 6 months and has now come to join the Massey family and older beagle, Wilson. Our aim is for him to come into school as a regular visitor to enrich our nurture provision for children who would value from the experience of reading to him or just spending time talking through worries and spending quality time with a calm companion with a member of staff in attendance.'

Charlie may have his 'forever home', but we want to raise funds and awareness for other animals in the care of the RSPCA.
