Bedtime Stories For All
135 children on the night accessed bedtime stories. Still available via Google Classroom/ Classwork if anyone else wants to enjoy. This series of 4 events in Autumn 2020 have been organised to encourage children and parents of pupils from Reception to Year 6 to use Google Classroom for home learning, often involving the whole family. This virtual platform has also has given full curriculum to those self isolating.
The bedtime stories are now pre-recorded to overcome Google 100 limit of participants for live sessions.
Feedback has been amazing and overall continues to encourage a love of reading for all generations.
One parent wrote.
'Thank you Mrs Massey for the beautiful session! Aishani loved all of them but keeps talking about "When Jessie came across the sea" because of the background and how the girl overcomes the challenges she faced.'
