Anti Bullying Week Begins with a Whole School Launch

Thank you to Y6 who applied some role play created on Friday lunchtime to lead an Assembly on this important issue today.

The content ranged from general themes around being safe and supporting those in need at School, to drama in response to the question, 'What would you do, to show you are the best friend you can be?'

Older children then considered how Ann Frank's story began through intolerance between religions and differences in beliefs. We celebrated diversity as a strength at Howe Dell.

As well as launching Anti Bullying Week for children, staff returned to site this evening for additional training on PREVENT: raising awareness of safeguarding concerns around potential radicalisation. Howe Dell is proud of the school's reputation for pastoral care and is keen to ensure training remains relevant and follows most up to date guidance.
